STOP THE FIRE BEFORE IT STARTS. If the oxygen content in closed rooms is kept permanently at a low level, fires run out of air - even before they start. This is why fire protection through oxygen reduction is not new territory. Data centres, warehouses and deep-freeze stores are already protected in this way. However, conventional fire prevention systems are very energy-intensive, complex and correspondingly expensive.
